In a bid to support reforestation within our beloved Amazônia and give back to the earth, we are proud to have formed a charitable partnership with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organisation with a wider mission to plant more trees across the world.
Working in association with One Tree Planted, with every set of Beach Bats that are purchased online, one tree will be planted in Brazil to aid with reforestation projects throughout the country. Our bespoke Beach Bats are hand-crafted from wood off-cuts that have been sustainably salvaged from the Brazilian furniture industry, so you can know that your purchase protects trees in more ways that one.
This initiative supports the vital work undertaken by One Tree Planted to restore land affected by deforestation and offset carbon emissions, with the aim of revitalising the “lungs of the world” as well as supporting local people with meaningful employment.
As we say in Brazil, “a união faz a força” (unity is strength), and we hope that embarking upon this initiative will provide our customers the opportunity to give back to our earth, helping us work together to restore the natural beauty and health of our beloved Amazônia.
