Travel with us to Paraíso. This season we visit Armação dos Búzios, a coastal Brazilian seaside town. A former fisherman’s village located a stone’s throw from Rio de Janeiro, Búzios is renowned for its vivid landscape punctuated by forests and cascading seascapes. A quiet, natural beauty and welcome retreat from the exuberant bustle of the nearby city.
For Spring Summer 2024, we invest in contemporary cuts, functional details and elevated materials. Designed to transition between city and resort, new styles are crafted for both work and play, so you can take your business elsewhere.
Alongside seasonal updates to our iconic essentials, we introduce lightweight sweaters, polos and cardigans to our knitwear selection. All new Castillo adds crochet to the mix, a breathable and durable alternative. In shirting we introduce Emilio, the perfect transitional shirt crafted from 100% cotton, whilst still maintaining our signature linen hand-feel. In footwear, we welcome a redefinition of the classic loafer: the Telo. With a collapsible leather heel for slip-on ease, shock-absorbent cork insole and rubber tread, the Telo might be the only loafer suitable for beach and city.
As warmer days roll in, we elevate poolside style with our new season updates. Designed in-house, our bespoke seasonal prints are a reimagination of our core favourites. We reinterpret Rio’s coastline for Seascape and Copa Camada prints, while the Perennial print injects a more pastoral Brazilian influence into our swimwear category. Salvador is also new to Swimwear this season, a sustainable addition made from 100% recycled polyester: an entry-level swim short in our best-selling sport fit. Sport swim also gets an update, now available in a range of jacquard fabrics, hand-woven with intricate detail so you can elevate your swimwear to super-luxe. Mix and match with Roberto, our new 100% silk shirt for an easy evening fit, or with Paco, a heavier version of our unique house-blend Terry Cotton fabric.
Beyond Swim, we introduce linen suits this Spring as part of our main collection. Conceptualised by our Head of Design, formerly of Savile Row, the deconstructed nature of our suiting married with the quality of our best-selling linen brings easy-going Brazilian soul to traditional tailoring. This season’s core colours are refreshed to draw from local landscapes. Transformative sky blues and real shades of the Atlantic Ocean are warmed up with harvest golds, notes of truffle and earthy pigments.
Escape to Paradise this season, inject some Carioca into your wardrobe and let your mind roam.
