      We have partnered with London-based multidisciplinary artist John Booth to create a unique capsule collection. Known for his exuberant creative expression, Booth draws inspiration from Brazilian sun, sea and scenery to capture the vibrant spirit of Rio de Janeiro through his own colourful lens. Aglow with positivity, the collection encapsulates the light-hearted joy of life through colour.

      British multidisciplinary artist John Booth works across a breadth of media, including painting, textiles, ceramics and woodwork. Having studied at London’s Central Saint Martins, where he went onto lecture for a time, Booth has since spearheaded collaborations across the worlds of fashion, art and culture. The collection was shot at NOW Gallery in Greenwich, London, amongst Booth's latest installation ‘Up in Smoke’.

      The collaboration marks our inaugural Artist in Residence: a tribute to our artisanal heritage. Tracing back to 1930s Brazil, Lian Pontes - an entrepreneur and artisan specialising in the art of woodwork - handcrafted the original beach bat from driftwood to found the game of frescobol on Copacabana Beach. His legacy of craft and design remains at the heart of the brand today, inspiring ongoing collaborations with global brands and independent artists.

      Personalisation

      Our bats can be engraved with up to 6 letters, available in 3 different fonts.

      One of the two bats in your set will be engraved. If you purchase a bi-coloured bat set, the personalised bat will be pre-selected on your behalf.

      For personalised beach bats, please add an additional 3 working days to our standard delivery time.
